Our Commitment

Youth Safety

The protection of every young athlete in our program is our highest priority — not a checkbox.

Age Policy & Parental Consent

All mentee participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian provide signed consent before any one-on-one contact with a mentor occurs. This is an absolute requirement — no exceptions. Consent is collected via our Sign Up form.

Mentor Screening

Every mentor undergoes a comprehensive background check conducted by a third-party screening service before being approved to participate. All mentors must also complete USA Gymnastics Safe Sport training and sign our Mentor Code of Conduct, which outlines acceptable communication, boundaries, and reporting responsibilities.

Remote-Only Sessions

All mentorship sessions are conducted remotely via video call or phone. In-person meetings are not permitted under this program unless explicitly arranged in writing and approved by a parent or guardian, the athlete, and Next Level Gymnastics staff. This policy protects both athletes and mentors.

Communication Standards

All communication between mentors and athletes must occur through approved channels. Direct private messaging on personal social media platforms is discouraged. Parents or guardians are encouraged to be present during sessions, particularly for younger athletes. Any communication that makes an athlete uncomfortable should be reported immediately.

Reporting Concerns

If you observe, experience, or suspect any behavior that violates our safety standards — including inappropriate communication, boundary violations, or any form of misconduct — please contact us immediately via the Contact page. All safety reports are treated with the highest priority and confidentiality.

Mandatory Reporting

Next Level Gymnastics staff and mentors are expected to report any suspicion of child abuse, neglect, or exploitation in accordance with applicable state and federal laws. We take this obligation seriously.

USAG Safe Sport Alignment

Our program aligns with the USA Gymnastics Safe Sport guidelines and the U.S. Center for SafeSport standards. We regularly review and update our policies to reflect best practices in youth athlete protection.
